If you are a tight ass like me you can flip that spring over so it runs on the non worn leg and get another 200k miles out of it. 😂

Thanks brother for extra tips on the pump. My spring is a little loose as well. That info was welcomed, along with all the other tid bits about the internals. I did what you talked about and quit turning in the fuel screw when I felt resistance for fear of breaking something. It's nice to know that I did something right for a change. Also wanted to say that you can replace the idler stud with an actual bolt. It simplifies adjusting the idle by just using a wrench instead of trying to work with the small hole on the end of the stud. Just remember to put the lock nut back when you replace it. I got the idea from Tim on Decent Garage. I found it to be very helpful.

Hey so I have a 92 with 7x10 injectors... I've back the star wheel all the way to the right and even flipped it over. Smoke screw all the way out. My rig doesn't clean up on the top end at all and it has compounds on it. Any idea?

Looks like its a pretty nice truck. I wonder if that fuel pin is ground too deep and it was leaking fuel into the afc housing and that is why they had it turned around. You could put the washer on it so it can't travel that deep if that is the case.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it ends up. I think it'll turn out great. Maybe put one of those sleeper/back seat kits on it so more of the crew can ride together. Also, I didn't get a real good look at the whole front grille, so what kind of shape is it in? If it's not cracked or busted up, I'd be interested in it. I'm replacing mine anyway, so it'd be nice to have one with the DODGE on it. Thanks brother. You did say were gonna change out the front grille with an older model, is the reason I ask.
